Progressive Caribbean Poker

Game Objective:

The game of Progressive Caribbean Poker is a combination of Caribbean Poker along with the choice to play a progressive jackpot.

The game plan is to defeat the hand held by the dealer. The side bet allows the player to win when he or she has any of the highest hands and this is not dependent on the result of the game.

Game features:

  • A regular deck containing 52 cards is used. The jokers are removed from the pack.
  • The cards are shuffled before each game commences.
  • Bets can be placed from a lowest range of $1 to a highest value of $200 .
  • Whether real money or play money is being used, the rules of the game and the payouts remain the same.
  • Every card suit (spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs) carry the same value.

Playing the Game:

  • The chips of various denominations such as $1, $5, $25 and $100 are displayed at the edge. You can select the chips by clicking on them to allow you to place the bet.
  • Once the chips are selected, the ‘ante’ bet is placed by clicking the ante area seen on the table. Once the chip is placed on the table, the bets can be eliminated by clicking on the chip.
  • To place the side bet or the progressive bet, the area marked ‘Progressive Bet’ is clicked. The amount for progressive bets is $1 . To remove a progressive bet, the chip placed on the progressive bet area is clicked.
  • Ante bets are placed prior to starting the game while progressive bets can be placed before the ante bet is placed or even later.
  • Only when the ante bet is placed, the ‘DEAL’ button will become visible. When this button is clicked, the cards are distributed.
  • The player receives a total of five cards all face-up while the dealer receives a total of five cards with four cards turned face-down and one card with the face-up.
  • By checking the hand and the visible one dealer card, the player can decide either to ‘Bet’ or ‘Fold’.
  • If ‘Bet’ is clicked, double the amount in ante will be bet. This bet amount cannot be recalled once ‘Bet’ has been clicked.
  • The system verifies whether the player holds a winning hand.
  • If ‘Fold’ is clicked, the bet is lost and only progressive bet winnings, if any, will be given.
  • If the wager is raised, any of the highest hands you have will win in the progressive bet despite the results of the game. You will win this bet even if the dealer wins the poker round. Please check the Paytable provided to know about payout for progressive bets.

Rules of the Game:

The appropriate chip denominations are clicked to put in the ‘ante’ bet or the main bet. Side bets are put in to be eligible for the progressive jackpot. Side bets can be selected prior to or after placing the ante bet, but the ante bet must be placed.  Without it the game will not start.

Once the bets are placed, the deal button is clicked to distribute the cards, five face-up for you and four face-down and one card face-up to the dealer. After checking the hand, the player has the option to either withdraw or to bet further. If the player opts to raise the bet, any winning progressive combination held will qualify for winnings despite the results of the game i.e. the player wins the side bet even if the dealer has a better hand. If the player withdraws without raising the bet, the amount wagered is lost and only the progressive payout, if any is given. The dealer should hold Ace-King or something even higher to continue playing. If the dealer does not hold this, even money on the ante is paid out but nothing is given on the side bet.

The bet amounts are paid out as calculated in the Paytable which is listed later. If the dealer has a better hand, then the house gets the player’s ante and the bet amounts. If both the player and the dealer’s hands are equal, it results in a draw or ‘push’. In such a case, both the ante and the bet amount are returned.

As mentioned earlier, the dealer needs an Ace-King to continue playing. Other than this, the dealer can have one of the below mentioned combinations to resume playing the game:

  • Pair
  • Two Pairs
  • Three of the same kind
  • Straight
  • Flush
  • Full House
  • Four of the same kind
  • Straight Flush
  • Royal Flush

If both the player and the dealer have identical ranking the person holding cards of higher value is the winner. For example, a Flush with King high wins over a Flush with Jack high. If both the player and the dealer have the same card of high value, the card bearing the highest value apart from the common card is used to find the winner. If both the hands are totally the same, a draw or push is announced. The comparisons do not take into account the suit of the cards.

Reloading Party Account

Continue firing up any game by adding more funds to your PartyAccount balance. There are three simple options for reloading. The first is by going to the ‘Cashier’ menu, then look for the ‘Deposit’ button that will then guide you to the next step. If you are in the middle of a game and there is a need to reload, the second alternative is the best one for you. There is a ‘Rebuy’ button that is found on every game screen that will take you to the deposit options. The last one could be done in ‘My Account’ section found in the left portion of the main page. Click on the ‘Real Balance’ button and then follow the instructions.

Remember that each option is different in terms of the length of time the fund transfer takes place and the additional charge that goes with the process. Also take note that you can’t add any funds while you are in the middle of any game so it is advisable to check your party account before starting any game.

Reaching Bet Limits

There is a possibility that during the Game you may encounter the need to reload your PartyAccount balance because it is below the limit of minimum bet allowed. All you have to do is to click the ‘Rebuy’ button that will allow you to buy credits. You can also go to the Cashier menu and choose ‘Deposit’ that will then take you to the next process. There is also a ‘Cashier’ button in every “Buy-in” window that can be found in any screen of an ongoing game. The ‘Real Balance’ in the ‘My Account’ section in the left panel in main lobby can also do the job.

Disconnected or Halted Game

In case the game is suddenly disconnected, don’t worry because the software will automatically finish the game for you. You can check the status by logging back again then look for the 'Gamelogs' button. You can also check the balance of your PartyAccount that reflects the result.

If your game is halted while you are playing in feature round, you can finish it by logging in again. After completing the feature round, you can then continue playing the same game or start another game of your choice
