Multi Player Multi Hand Blackjack

Game Objective

With the Multi Player Blackjack game a player can join in by playing with other participants throughout the world, lay a wager on up to 5 hands and play them separately in quick succession.

The aim in the Multi Player Blackjack game is to amass cards where the values approach or equal 21, but being careful not to exceed 21. The count of a hand is calculated on the basis of the total points of every card that is in the hand. Cards numbered 2 to 10 have the value shown. Face cards which include Jacks, Queens and Kings have a value of 10 points. The value of an Ace is 11 or 1. It is valued at 11 as long as that would not make the value of the hand exceed 21. If there is the potential of it raising the value of the hand to above 21 then its value becomes 1.

A ‘soft total’ is a hand that has an ace whose value is 11 and does not cause the total to exceed 21. A ‘hard total’ on the other hand is a hand that has an Ace whose value is 1, since a value of 11 would cause the hand to exceed 21 and lose.

In the case where the player and the house draw, there is deemed to be no winner or loser and this situation is referred to as a ‘push.’

The following is more useful information about the game:

  • What greets the player when he or she gets into the lobby of multi player blackjack are tables which are categorised
  • You can check on the table categories by looking at the list on the left of the screen
  • You can sort the lists of games by clicking on the title at the top of the column. You can see the sort the other way around by clicking at the top of the column once more
  • Choosing a table involves a player double clicking on the table displayed on the right hand section.
  • The options available to players include either taking a seat or seats if there are some that are vacant or simply viewing the table.
  • The capacity of every table is one dealer and five players.
  • Click the ‘Take Seat’ button to play from that seat
  • The seats that are taken are those that bear an account name beside them.
  • In the event a player enters a table midway through a hand he or she must wait until the round is completed before they can lay a wager.
  • Once you click on 'Take Seat' a buy in window will display so that you can then buy into the table, you have twenty seconds to do this before the opportunity is lost.
  • The moment one has acquired a seat you then click on the bet section to lay a wager. Clicking on ‘DEAL’ will deal one a hand but the dealing of the cards will only happen after all the players have ‘dealt’ or when the global timer indicates completion.
  • If you would like to take away a wager you have placed, right click on it
  • One has the option of skipping the current hand but skipping the game three times in succession will cause you to lose the seat.
  • If there is only one seat taken the ‘SKIP’ button will not appear
  • One can leave a seat by hitting the 'Leave seat' button.
  • If you decide you’d like to move you can click on your chosen new location, but only if it is vacant
  • A timer will encourage you to respond. If you fail to bet in the allotted time, or if you don’t click the ‘DEAL’ button, you will find that you have skipped the hand
  • Player chips are usually valued in amounts of $1 dollar, $5 dollars, $25 dollars and $100 dollars and these are shown at the bottom right of the game screen.
  • When bets have been made, the ‘DEAL’ button must be hit so that cards are allocated
  • Every player who hit the ‘DEAL’ button prior to the global timer running out will receive cards
  • After the dealer has dealt two cards facing up to each and every active participant, he deals himself two cards one facing down and the other facing up. Prior to the players drawing their card number three the dealer looks to see if he has a blackjack.
  • The hand in play will be shown by an arrow
  • When your turn comes you can select from various choices given such as ‘STAND,’ ‘HIT,’ ‘SURRENDER,’ ‘DOUBLE’ or ‘SPLIT.’
  • In the case of a player laying a wager but taking too long to play a hand the assumption made is that one has opted to stand.
  • An 'INSURANCE' choice is offered in case the card of the dealer which is facing up is an ‘ACE.’
  • The hole card of the dealer is only shown once all the players have played their hands. The hand status that is displayed very much hinges on the results and this status could be either a win, lose, bust, push or blackjack.
  • In the case where the outcome of all the five betting positions is bust, the dealer will stand, in the case where the player busts they will lose everything they had wagered.
  • When the game is complete, duplicate bets are placed. If you want to bet a different stake then just click on the necessary chip and then click on your stack

More information about playing the Multi Player Blackjack game is as follows:

  • The balance of the player is shown on the monitor.
  • Clicking ‘REBUY’ will enable you purchase more credits.
  • Clicking ‘RULES’ will display the rules of the game for you.
  • Clicking ‘GAMELOGS’ will display you game statistics.
  • Clicking ‘VERSION’ will display the present game version.
  • Clicking ‘EXIT GAME’ will bring the game to an end.

Stand: Clicking the ‘STAND’ button will retain the present worth of your hand. You can choose to do this at any point if you like the cards you have been dealt. Hit the ‘STAND’ button and when the dealer’s hand is complete, cards will be compared.

Hit: Clicking the ‘HIT’ button will enable you to be dealt another card.  You can take cards until you go bust, reach 21 or choose to ‘STAND’.

Double: This choice only comes after the initial two cards. Clicking on the ‘DOUBLE’ button will enable the bet you have placed to be increased by two times.  After you have doubled, ‘auto-stand’ will apply.

After you have split, you could be given the option to double down. If you do not have sufficient funds to do this, you will not be given the opportunity.

If you lose the hand you will forfeit both your first wager and the extra amount allotted for the double down option.

Split: This is an option in cases where you are in possession of two cards with similar worth in which case by splitting you share them out to two distinct hands.  If you do this, another bet the same as your first one will be placed.

Splitting can happen only once, regardless of whether or not further opportunities come up. If your cards mean you could split, but your funds will not cover the extra bet, you will not be given the opportunity to split

You can take any number of cards on a split hand, except when you split on Aces or double down after splitting. If you decided to split Aces, a single card will be given to each Ace. If a face card or a 10 is put with either Ace, blackjack does not apply, just 21.

This is how you split:

  • By clicking on the ‘Split’ option, the cards are shared out to 2 distinct hands before dealing an additional card to each of the hands. The next thing to do is click on ‘HIT’, or ’STAND’ or whatever choice one has.
  • If the value of the hand is 21, the arrow will not appear, but will go on to the other hand.
  • The next thing to do is select ‘HIT’, ‘STAND’ or any of the given choices

Insurance: hitting on the ‘insurance’ button will offer you protection from a blackjack of a dealer. The cost of insuring is 50% of the bet amount and is on top of the first bet. An extra wager will be laid the moment you seek to insure. You will have 20 seconds to accept the offer to insure, after that time the system will treat the insurance option as ignored and the game will go on.

In a situation where the dealer is in possession of a blackjack, the insurance bet pays two to one, and the player loses the first bet. In case the dealer does not draw a blackjack, the player loses the insured wager and the game proceeds for the money that had been bet first. If you have a blackjack yourself, the insurance option will not be given to you.

If your funds are too low to cover the extra bet, the ‘Insurance’ choice will not be given to you.

Surrender: When the sum of your points is revealed, you may decide to stop play for that round and to surrender 50% of your bet amount. You will have to make this choice prior to opting to double down, split pairs, stand or hit.

The option to Surrender will be given once the dealer has ascertained whether or not he has a blackjack. If a blackjack comes from his second card, your whole bet will be taken by the dealer and the game will conclude. Should the second card of the dealer not get a blackjack and you decide to ‘Surrender’, 50% of your wager will be given back to you.

Pay Table
Win Type Description Payoff
Blackjack A blackjack or 'natural' has a total of 21 in your first two cards. A blackjack is therefore an Ace and any ten-valued card, with the additional requirement that these be your first two cards. If you split a pair of Aces for example, and then draw a ten-valued card on one of the Aces, this is not a blackjack, but rather a total of 21. A player blackjack beats any dealer total other than a dealer's blackjack, including a dealer's regular 21. If both a player and the dealer have blackjack, the hand is a tie or push. 1.5 to 1
(Normal win) Player's total is greater than Dealer's but less than or equal to 21. 1 to 1
Push Total of both dealer and player hand are the same. Even
Insurance Offered on the Dealer's Ace to insure player's hands against the Dealer's blackjack. Costs 50% of the bet amount in addition to the initial bet placed by the player. If the Dealer gets a blackjack, the insurance bet pays 2 to 1. Player loses the initial bet.

If Dealer does not get a blackjack, the player loses the insured bet and the game continues for the initial bet amount.
Surrender Allowed only on the first two cards. Player can select to discontinue play of their hand for that round and surrender. If the Dealer's second card results in a blackjack, player's entire wager will be collected by the Dealer.

If the Dealer's second card does not result in a blackjack, then one-half of player's bet amount will be returned.

Topping up your PartyAccount

Continue firing up any game by adding more funds to your PartyAccount balance. There are three simple options for reloading. The first is by going to the ‘Cashier’ menu, then look for the ‘Deposit’ button that will then guide you to the next step. If you are in the middle of a game and there is a need to reload, the second alternative is the best one for you. There is a ‘Rebuy’ button that is found on every game screen that will take you to the deposit options. The last one could be done in ‘My Account’ section found in the left portion of the main page. Click on the ‘Real Balance’ button and then follow the instructions.

Remember that each option is different in terms of the length of time the fund transfer takes place and the additional charge that goes with the process. Also take note that you can’t add any funds while you are in the middle of any game so it is advisable to check your party account before starting any game

Reaching Bet Limits

There is a possibility that during the Game you may encounter the need to reload your PartyAccount balance because it is below the limit of minimum bet allowed. All you have to do is to click the ‘Rebuy’ button that will allow you to buy credits. You can also go to the Cashier menu and choose ‘Deposit’ that will then take you to the next process. There is also a ‘Cashier’ button in every “Buy-in” window that can be found in any screen of an ongoing game. The ‘Real Balance’ in the ‘My Account’ section in the left panel in main lobby can also do the job.

Disconnected or Halted Game

In case the game is suddenly disconnected, don’t worry because the software will automatically finish the game for you. You can check the status by logging back again then look for the 'Gamelogs' button. You can also check the balance of your PartyAccount that reflects the result.

If your game is halted while you are playing in feature round, you can finish it by logging in again. After completing the feature round, you can then continue playing the same game or start another game of your choice.
