Jacks or Better

Game Plan:

Jacks or Better is a game in which the player competes against the computer. The game plan is to get a poker hand holding a minimum of a Jack pair or hopefully something better than that. The highest hand is a Royal Flush. For more details, check the ‘PAYTABLE’ given below.

Once the bets are placed the player receives five cards. The player then gets to choose which cards can be held and the cards that he wants to replace. The cards opted to be replaced are changed giving the player a final hand. The player wins or loses the bet depending on the final hand held. If the player wins, there is an additional chance to win twice the amount to a maximum limit of 2,000 coins.

Game Features:

  • A regular deck containing 52 cards and no Jokers is used in this game.
  • The cards are shuffled before each game commences.
  • Every card suit (Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades) carries the same value.
  • The highest winning hand only will be paid.

Playing the Game:

  • Coins are used to place the wager in the game. The coin value can be increased or lowered by using the up or down arrows that can be found on either side of the ‘COIN’ sign.

·        The smallest bet allowed is $0.1 and the highest is $500 .

  • The amount that is placed as a bet is displayed in the box termed as ‘BET’ that is found at the bottom of your screen.
  • The value the player has opted for in the present game is displayed on the face of the ‘COIN’ sign. As mentioned earlier the value can be changed by utilizing the arrows on either side of the coin.
  • The ‘COINS’ box displays the actual number of coins being utilized in the game. One coin is the minimum and five coins is the maximum number that can be used for one game.
  • The ‘BET ONE’ button can be clicked to raise the number of coins being used for the game. Alternatively, the player can use an option provided with the ‘PAYTABLE’ that can be found on the screen at the top. The correct number of coins being used can be highlighted on the columns provided in the Paytable.
  • If the ‘BET MAX’ icon is clicked the number of coins for the game gets automatically set as five at the coin value chosen by the player. If a player selects this feature, the next game begins automatically.
  • The ‘PAYTABLE’ can be found on the screen at the top. This gives information about the exact pay out for each winning hand. The winnings are displayed as a number of coins depending on the number of coins bet initially (one to five coins.). The winning amount is calculated using the number of coins won and multiplying that number with the value of the coin chosen at the beginning of the game. The ‘WIN’ box provides details about the total amount that has been won.
  • ‘DEAL’ is clicked to commence the game and the player receives five cards with their faces turned up.
  • The player then has to make a decision either to hold one or more of the cards or to replace them.
  • If any card is clicked upon, a ‘HOLD’ symbol appears on the particular card selected. If the card is clicked a second time, the ‘HOLD’ symbol disappears.
  • Once the player decides on what cards to hold and what to replace by clicking on the cards needed, the ‘DRAW’ icon is clicked. Once this is done the cards that were not opted to be held are discarded, new ones are received instead of the discarded cards making a new and final hand.
  • The final hand is checked to see if any winning combinations are present. If any winning combinations are found, the winnings are immediately made according to the Paytable.
  • The win amount is displayed in the ‘WIN’ box that is found at the bottom of the screen in the corner on the right side.
  • The game balance is displayed at the bottom of the screen in the corner on the left side. For more details on game balance, see below about ‘REBUY’.
  • If no changes are made to the bet, the default bet is used for the next game, the same as the earlier game. If a player wishes to make changes to the bet amount, it needs to be done before the commencement of the game.
  •  ‘RULES’ is clicked to check on the rules of the game. The rules option is found at the bottom left of the screen. Once the rules are read, the player can return to the game by selecting the ‘GAME’ option.
  • ‘GAMELOGS’ is clicked to get the details of all your games till then.
  • ‘VERSION’ is clicked to check the game version.
  • ‘REBUY’ is used to enhance the credits and to purchase more credits from the Party Account.
  • ‘EXIT GAME’ allows you to leave the game and takes you back to Game room.

Rules for Doubling:

  • Once the player wins a game, the choice to ‘DOUBLE’ the winnings is provided.
  • The player has to select the ‘DOUBLE’ button to activate the feature.
  • From a new deck of cards, another five cards are received with only one card turned face-up.
  • The player must choose one card from the other four cards that are dealt with their face turned down.
  • If the card selected by the player is higher in value than the card that was dealt face-up, the game winnings are doubled.
  • If the card selected by the player is lower in value than the card that was dealt face-up, the winnings are lost.
  • If the card selected by the player has the same rank as that of the card that was dealt face-up, the game is a tie. The player then has an option to try again or to collect the initial win amount.
  • If a player wins the ‘DOUBLE’ round, the machine then prompts to either ‘DOUBLE’ the new winnings or to ‘COLLECT’ it. Clicking the ‘DOUBLE’ or ‘COLLECT’ icon permits the player to continue further or to collect the earnings.
  • Doubling can be continued until the total reaches a maximum limit of 2,000 coins. If the total goes beyond 2,000 coins, the doubling feature will not be available and the doubling feature will end by itself.
  • Once the maximum permissible limit of 2,000 coins is reached using the doubling feature, the doubling option is removed and the player is taken back to the main game automatically.

Payoff Rules:

  • ‘PAYTABLE’ provides the list of winnings for different hands.
  • Winnings are awarded only for the highest winning hand.
  • The winnings displayed under the ‘PAYTABLE’ are the total number of coins. The actual win amount is displayed in the ‘WIN’ box that can be viewed at the bottom of the screen on the right hand side.

Reloading Party Account

Continue firing up any game by adding more funds to your PartyAccount balance. There are three simple options for reloading. The first is by going to the ‘Cashier’ menu, then look for the ‘Deposit’ button that will then guide you to the next step. If you are in the middle of a game and there is a need to reload, the second alternative is the best one for you. There is a ‘Rebuy’ button that is found on every game screen that will take you to the deposit options. The last one could be done in ‘My Account’ section found in the left portion of the main page. Click on the ‘Real Balance’ button and then follow the instructions.

Remember that each option is different in terms of the length of time the fund transfer takes place and the additional charge that goes with the process. Also take note that you can’t add any funds while you are in the middle of any game so it is advisable to check your PartyAccount before starting any game.

Reaching Bet Limits

There is a possibility that during the Game you may encounter the need to reload your PartyAccount balance because it is below the limit of minimum bet allowed. All you have to do is to click the ‘Rebuy’ button that will allow you to buy credits. You can also go to the Cashier menu and choose ‘Deposit’ that will then take you to the next process. There is also a ‘Cashier’ button in every “Buy-in” window that can be found in any screen of an ongoing game. The ‘Real Balance’ in the ‘My Account’ section in the left panel in main lobby can also do the job.

Disconnected or Halted Game

In case the game is suddenly disconnected, don’t worry because the software will automatically finish the game for you. You can check the status by logging back again then look for the 'Gamelogs' button. You can also check the balance of your PartyAccount that reflects the result.

If your game is halted while you are playing in feature round, you can finish it by logging in again. After completing the feature round, you can then continue playing the same game or start another game of your choice
