Really excited to be working with ESPN on the WSOP coverage

Posted by Kara Scott in Kara Scott, World Series of Poker on May 20, 2011

Tick Tock Tick Tock

The WSOP is just around the corner and like every year, I feel like I have a million things to do to get ready and no time to do it all!

It doesn’t help that I can spend hours and hours poking around on the internet on FB and Twitter and reading various pop culture blogs.

I really must learn a bit of discipline because June and July in Las Vegas are some of the most important weeks of a poker player’s year and I need to get ready!

Hopefully nab a bracelet

I’ll be heading to Vegas at the end of May in order to prepare for the first bit of ESPN coverage that I’ll be working on – the 25k Heads Up and the Heads Up Grudge Matches.

After that, it’s my time to play like crazy and hopefully nab a bracelet before I hang up my player’s hat and I’m back in the saddle as an announcer for the Player’s Championship event and the Main Event.

I’m really excited to be working with ESPN on the WSOP’s TV coverage and I can’t wait to get started!
