More Trouble for Luke Schwartz at PartyPoker.com World Open V

Posted by Warren Lush in World Open V on October 11, 2009

luke-fullflush1-schwartzAfter the recent sandwich drama he found himself excluded from the Palm Beach Casino in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London. Schwartz turned up for his heat at the PartyPoker.com World Open V this morning but was flagged as banned on the casino system and organizers had to go into long discussions with casino management to allow him to take his seat in the first heat of the tournament.

At one point it looked like the casino, which is part of the Genting Stanley Group, were not going to concede and that a new player was going to have be parachuted in at the last minute. The casino made a special condition, however, that Schwartz had to have a special escort from the tournament organizers who is totally responsible for his behaviour.

An onlooker said: “They wouldn’t let FullFlush in and there wasn’t a sandwich in sight. We thought that only an individual casino group had banned him but it now seems to have come to light that he is banned from every casino in the United Kingdom. Schwartz went mental at reception which didn’t help matters.”

It now appears that ‘sandwichgate’ has led to a total ban from all casinos in the UK.
