Kara Scott: The Big Game is nearly upon us

The Big Game is nearly upon us and what a hotly anticipated show it’s turning out to be. I’ve seen a list of the names involved and considering the lineup, I think we’ll see some seriously interesting confrontations.

I’m looking forward to getting in there myself, not as a player of course but hosting the night time segments of the live game. I’ve always had a lot of respect for Jesse May’s ability to do the whole 36 hours of commentary but I’ve never fancied actually trying to do something like it myself! Gulp.

I’ll be hosting the TV coverage for the 7pm-7am segments of the Big Game so I’ll do my best to not let the tiredness get to me. I won’t be able to do a whole 2 days straight though and thankfully my friend Tatjana Pasalic will be joining me in the duties. Two heads are definitely better than one in this case!

I’m sure that there will be a lot of live updates and blog posts about the happenings at the table, but hopefully we manage to capture some great cash game poker for your viewing pleasure when the shows airs on TV in the UK.
