Kara Scott: My birthday week

Posted by Kara Scott in Kara Scott on August 7, 2012

WPT Cyprus is happening right now and from the looks of all of the comments and photos being posted on social media sites, all I can say is ‘Wow!’ What a lush location for the tour and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get there next season if the dates work out.

Right now, I’m spending my birthday week (why not celebrate for a week?) with friends in Italy and having a great time. I was watching an Italian player grinding on Sunday and it really made me want to get back to the tables myself. My next tournament is WPT Paris in September and I’m looking forward to playing the Main Event there and maybe some side events as well. After that, it’ll be WPT Malta and I’m stoked to get back to that location. I loved playing it last year.

Luckily, I’ll be able to get to Malta twice this year. My friends over at PokerListings have just announced their first ever live poker event and they’ve asked me to come out there in November and host it. It’ll be a really fun and lighthearted event with a 500+50 Euro buy in and 150k guaranteed prize pool. Qualifiers will start soon on PartyPoker so keep your eyes open!
