I just got home from an amazing trip to New York. I’d never been to the city before so I was really excited to finally get out there and experience a bit of NYC.
I have some friends who live out there and another friend was getting married so it made for a ridiculously busy week.
I’m exhausted now! We started off by missing our flight out of LAX. Sigh. Thankfully, that was the biggest problem to deal with all week!
I had a pretty big list of things that I wanted to do while we were there and miraculously managed to do most of it. Aside from the typical ‘see the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building,’
I was really keen to eat some amazing food and wow, I definitely did that. Also, I wanted to just wander around the different areas in Manhattan a lot and soak in the atmosphere. Very touristy but also really satisfying!
I’m home for a few days and then will be heading to Vegas to play Festa al Lago and I’m really looking forward to sitting down for some live poker. I haven’t played live since Vegas so I’m hoping that I won’t be too terribly rusty.
It’ll be great to catch up with a few friends who are based out there too. With London, New York, a short trip to Florida and then Vegas next week – it has been a really busy couple of months! A win at Festa al Lago would certainly make it all worthwhile so wish me luck :)
