The Santa Barbara Fair and Expo was in town recently and damn, do I love me some Carnival hijinx!
I was lucky enough to check out this once-a-year event with some friends of mine; a really fantastic couple and their 3 small kids.

I’ve been playing poker at the Aviation Club in Paris for the last week.
I busted out on day 2 of the 1k Silver EFOP event in 17th or 18th place which was in the money and tantalisingly close to the bigger payouts.

I think I may have had one too many pints of Guinness in Dublin at the WPT because I’ve really been paying for it this week. I spent some time in England, sniffly and croaky-throated, trying desperately to keep this cold/flu/laryngitis/ebola hybrid at bay, but it seems to have caught up with me anyway.
I think that it was probably worth it though because Ireland was so much fun....
