What a hectic day!
Arriving in Barcelona I thought everything will go Mediterranean style, but poker fever has hit once again – WPT Spanish Championship is in its full swing and just a few hours ago, the cards went up in the air, as the Celebrity Invitational tournament started.

This charity event is not just another celebrity show off – besides collecting money for a great cause, collecting money for Pare Manel Foundation, first 7 finishers will get their nerves ready to get bought into the Main Event that starts tomorrow. Buy in for this exclusive event was only 440 euros so it is no wonder it attracted 150 people from all over the world.
It’s not an easy field out there, besides celebrities like Merce Llorens, a famous Spanish actress, Luis Moya, Joan Herrera, Dani Moreno and Joan Gracia, who just can’t stop being funny even when not working (he is a comedian) and kept joking around with his chips, regular crowd had to fight it out with our Tyron Krost and on top of that they were distracted by gorgeous Leo Margets who unfortunately busted.
And, while some are sweating at the poker table, other ones, like our qualifiers, are hanging at the bar or having dinner by the beach.
We organised welcomes drinks for the players who already arrived and they loved it! They were mixed up with the celebrity press shoot so they had a chance to hang out with tennis players, actors, basketball players…How cool is that?
Still, some of the players, like Dragan Galic, chose to get some fresh air and enjoy the late spring sun, so they were taken to a restaurant at the beach where they enjoyed mojitos, seafood and relaxed preparing for the big day. Not long now before Day 1A of the WPT Spanish Championship starts and we are all very excited.
