We just got word of a nice story from the WPT National in Denmark, it turns out that the Danish basketball coach and poker player Thomas Quaade, was one of those who were knocked out on Day 1a.
For Quaades he didnt take defeat so easy as later that same evening he managed to win 14,000DKK – in casino cash games, which was enough to buy into on Day 1b!
